This course is sure to provide pearls that attendees will be able to implement immediately.

Learning Objectives
SET YOUR CASES APART WITH DENTOFACIAL AESTHETICS:

*Understand dentofacial aesthetics and determine where the teeth belong in the face by evaluating facial flow, lip dynamics, gingival display, and tooth design.
*Improve communication and collaborations with the lab specialist and patients via verbal skills, 2D photography, 3D facial and intraoral scanning technology.
*Learn how 3D facial scanning technology is a gamechanger for full arch aesthetic dentistry.
*Understand why taking an open vertical dimension of occlusion bite with a facial scanner is beneficial. Demonstrations and hand-on experience will be provided.

OCCLUSION WILL MAKE OR BREAK CASES:

*Define the fundamental concepts of occlusion in relation to full arch dentistry and how this will lead to long-term occlusal stability and implant success.
*Understand the difference between Maximum Intercuspal Position, Centric Relation, and Centric Occlusion and how to decide which jaw position to use for each case.
*Learn to ask key questions related to Occlusion in the Kois Dental History form and how to interpret the answers to provide improved treatment plans.
*Learn John Kois’ occlusion classification system for: Acceptable Function, Frictional Chewing Pattern, Constricted Chewing Pattern, Occlusal Dysfunction, Parafunction, and Neurological Disorder.
*Why the use of Kois Deprogrammer and other centric relation recording devices can help determine occlusion diagnosis. Each participant will be provided with directions on how to fabricate, deliver and adjust their own Kois Deprogrammer
*Identify common occlusal complications and problem-solving techniques to manage occlusal issues effectively.
*Manage occlusal adjustments and equilibrations with a Kois *Deprogrammer and alternative methods.
