Join us for lunch and learn how concerns about rising antisemitism have led American Jews to change their behavior, how Jewish students feel, and how these challenges resonate with the broader American public. Also, learn how you can play an important role in making a difference.

In the wake of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack, antisemitism in the United States has surged impacting the lives and sense of security of American Jews in profoundly disturbing ways. Tune in to learn how concerns about rising antisemitism have led American Jews to change their behavior, how Jewish students feel, and how these issues resonate with the broader American public. Just as important, we’ll discuss the urgent actions that are needed now to combat this hatred and what you can do to help. AJC Chicago Assistant Directors Rachel Edelman and Susan Evans will provide insights from AJC’s State of Antisemitism in America 2024 Report and discuss ways for you to play an important role in making a difference.

Rachel Edelman is one of the Assistant Directors of Advancement & Engagement for AJC Chicago. Rachel coordinates AJC Chicago’s Leadership, Advocacy, and Diplomacy (LEAD) Fellowship and virtual LEAD Accelerator (click here to learn more). Rachel has been with AJC since 2018.

Susie Evans is one of the Assistant Directors of AJC Chicago. Susie develops, implements, and oversees AJC Chicago’s legislative advocacy program of outreach to elected officials at all levels of government.
