Some of Des Moines' best comics tell all in an evening of stand-up filled with laughter and revelation.

Featuring Lisa Rossi and Mel Mackey, along with Kate Thompson, Knotty Dotty, Andrea Hansen-Szymczyk and your host, Meg McKinney


Lisa is a journalist and comedian who makes serious issues like class differences in a marriage and cultural divides between growing up in a small town and leaving for big dreams. She has performed stand-up and improv on stages across the country including Comic Strip Live in New York and the Un-Scripted Theatre Company in San Francisco.


Mel's had her toe in everything from improv, sketch and Burlesque but her main skillset is stand up comedy. Melanie Mackey has been featured all over the Midwest including Des Moines Tee-Hees Comedy Club, the Des Moines Funnybone and small clubs and independent shows making a name for herself.
