# Event Details - **Event Name**: Call for Artists : The Art of the Wonderful World of Oz - **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 01 Aug, 2025 at 12:30 pm – Fri, 01 Aug, 2025 at 02:30 pm - **Event Description**: Call for Artists The Art of the Wonderful World of Oz ****Please Read**** The show will be on Friday, August 1st 4:30pm to 7 PM and August 2nd 11a to 7p +++Any art medium is welcome Art should be Oz themed of any characters, cartoons, books shows and films and your own take on it. There is a $10, non-refundable entry hanging fee for the show. Once paid you'll be added to the artist list, event page and show's promotional materials. Please submit fee to my paypal greenunicornart@yahoo.com first 20 artists first come first serve -ART- Each Artist can enter up to 4 pieces. All art will need to be show ready. No pieces bigger then 16x24 please. ALL work must be framed and wired to hang if not a 3D piece. Paintings don't need to be framed as long as the sides of the exposed canvas is painted but must be wired to hang. No saw-tooth hangers! Art should have a information card for it attached to the back that can be removed and placed next to the piece when displayed. TITLE PRICE or NFS (if not for sale) ARTIST NAME CONTACT INFO- PHONE # and e-mail SALES- Art can be sold. The sale will be between the artist and the buyer. There's no commission taken from the sale of art. Make sure if you are not attending the whole show that you have a way for your buyer to get a hold of and buy your piece from you? SHOW PROMOTION- If you're an artist taking part in this show, you need to promote the show through your personal and artists social pages. Invite friends, family, co-workers, etc. Share the event page on all your social media outlets. Remember it is your show also. The more people you tell, the better chance of successful show! ART DROP OFF- The two Fridays before the show I will be scheduling art drop offs. All art must be dropped off to me by August 1st 1230p to 230p at the Des Moines New Age Shop. No work accepted after 230p August 1st without first contacting me to make arrangements. The show will need to be ready when the doors open at 4:30p. ART PICK UP- Please take your art with you at the end of the show. Purchased art can leave as sold. Please don't abandon your artwork. I'm not responsible, and neither is The Des Moines New Age Shop, for art left behind at the end of the show. If arrangements need to be made talk to me about it before hand.
