Des Moines, WA – Mount Rainier Pool is excited to announce its annual “April Pool’s Day” event, dedicated to enhancing water safety awareness among children and families. This FREE event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Mount Rainier Pool, located at 22722 S 19th Ave, Des Moines, WA 98198.

Event Highlights:
•	Educational Stations: Participants will rotate through four 15-minute interactive stations (1:00–2:00 p.m.) focusing on:
o	Cold Water and Hypothermia
o	Reach and Throw, Don’t Go
o	Proper Life Jacket Use
o	Survival Strokes
•	Open Swim Session: Following the educational activities, participants can enjoy a free open swim from 2:15 to 3:00 p.m. Open swim is available to all attendees.
•	Prizes and Raffles: Participants who complete all four stations will receive a free beach ball or rubber ducky. Additionally, there will be a raffle for a 3-month family membership during the open swim session.

Registration Details:
No pre-registration is required. This is a free event, and participation is first-come, first-served. Space is limited.

Additional Information:
Participants are encouraged to arrive at 12:45 p.m. for check-in. The event is recommended for school-aged children but is open to all ages and abilities. The event will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.
