Course Description:
Artificial intelligence and 3D digital workflows are transforming modern dental practice. This comprehensive one-day continuing education program is designed to equip general dentists with practical training in AI-assisted diagnostics, digital treatment planning, and in-office 3D printing integration.

Led by Gene Peterson, this immersive course demonstrates how artificial intelligence enhances implant planning, orthodontic evaluation, surgical precision, and esthetic case design. Participants will learn how to integrate CBCT data, intraoral scans, and digital planning software into a seamless workflow—from virtual design to printed clinical delivery.

Through live demonstrations and guided clinical examples, attendees will explore how AI-supported software improves diagnostic accuracy, risk assessment, patient communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Emphasis will be placed on practical implementation strategies that allow general dentists to confidently incorporate digital planning and 3D printing into everyday practice.

Meet Your Speaker

Gene Peterson, PhD(c), MS, CDT
Gene Peterson is the Director of Education at Blue Sky Bio, LLC. He is a CDT with a BS in Biology, an MS in Biology/Human Anatomy and Physiology, and is currently finishing his PhD dissertation on digital dentures. He owned and operated a full-service dental lab for over 18 years in Arizona and has been a pioneer, researcher, developer, and educator in digital dental workflows, software, and materials over the last 35 years. Gene has multiple publications and lectures worldwide on both clinical and technical dental subjects.
