On February 25, we'll take that message directly to Iowa legislators. Whether you're a seasoned policy expert or a first-time advocate, this day is for YOU. We'll fill the Iowa State Capitol with people who care about protecting what's precious in our state. Iowans have a right to make our voices heard about our state's high cancer rates, our water and air quality, soil health, and our public lands.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

The first 200 people to register and attend will receive a free "I'm With the Environment" t-shirt! 

n the morning, we'll gather at a location near the Capitol for a short educational session to learn more about the legislative process and current bills impacting our health and environment. You'll build skills for talking with your legislator about environmental topics, get updates on legislation, and hear from people directly impacted by Iowa's cancer crisis and water and air pollution challenges.

In the afternoon, we'll meet at the Iowa State Capitol, where you can visit IEC member organization display tables and learn more about their work, talk directly with your state legislators, and see a short program and press conference in the Capitol Rotunda.
