Are you wondering what a Social enterprise is, or are you thinking about starting one? If so, this workshop is the place to start.
Like traditional businesses Social enterprises aim to make a profit but it’s what they do with their profits that sets them apart – reinvesting or donating them to create positive social change. Contributing £60 billion to the economy and employing 2 million people in the UK Social enterprises are creating jobs and transforming communities.
In a supportive atmosphere this workshop will talk you through the basics of what a social enterprise is, how it works and whether it is right for your idea. You will also have the opportunity to hear from and network with other social innovators and social entrepreneurs, including David Linton, Madlug.
