Social Media and the Employment Relationship
This session raises awareness, through the use of case law examples, of the many issues arising around the use of social media and the potential impact this has on the employment relationship. It looks at how social media is managed by employers, and in particular, focuses on dealing with issues arising out of improper use by employees.
At the end of this seminar participants will:
• be aware of the importance of having a Social Media Policy
• have knowledge of how to develop a Social Media Policy
• have an awareness of how to deal with breaches of the policy
