Buckle Up! Inishowen Cannonball Run for a Cause 🚗💨
If you hear the roar of engines echoing off the hills of Inishowen, don’t be alarmed — it’s not a Fast & Furious reboot. It’s the Inishowen Cannonball Run — and yes, you’re invited!
We’re hitting the road, raising awareness and support for two incredible charities:
💓 Irish Heart Foundation Arctic Challenge – tackling heart disease one icy step at a time
🎗️ The Gavin Glynn Foundation – helping children with cancer get the treatment they need abroad
But make no mistake: this isn’t your average Sunday drive. Picture scenic coastal routes, a convoy of character-filled cars, spontaneous roadside coffee stops, a playlist of guilty-pleasure bangers, and a few questionable driving outfits (looking at you, Elvis impersonator from last year 👀).
🚘 Who Can Join?
Literally everyone. Got a car? Great. Got a sense of adventure? Even better.
Whether you’re in a souped-up sports car, a family hatchback, or something that might technically be a lawnmower with wheels — you’re welcome.
This isn’t a race — it’s a rolling community with a purpose.
📍 What’s the Plan?
We’ll be cruising through some of Inishowen’s most jaw-dropping routes, with plenty of stops for:
Photos (and bragging rights)
Snacks (very important)
Laughs (even more important)
🫶 Why We're Doing It
We all know someone affected by heart disease or childhood cancer. These two causes are close to our hearts (literally and emotionally), and this is our way of giving back — with a bit of tire smoke and a lot of heart.
