It will take place on the third Thursday night of every month, from 7 to 8.30, with the bar open as well. Róise will teach a new song associated with Derry and the local area in Irish, followed by a singing circle open to all. Róise Ní Mhurchú is a young musician who has made a name for herself in the traditional music scene. She hails from an Chúil Mhór in Doire. Additionally she has drawn inspiration from Rann na Mónadh and the Gaeltacht of Tír Chonaill while learning her songs. Róise has won two medals at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in 2025. She has also achieved recognition at Oireachtas na Samhna, winning a silver medal for Irish-language singing in November 2023 and receiving a nomination for Young Star of the Year 2025.
