Brandywell and Creggan - Supporting Health and Well Being

Building Capacity to Support Transition in Brandywell and Creggan.

A large scale programme to tackle paramilitarism is being rolled out across Northern Ireland. As part of this programme we are working with eight communities to help them overcome the threat and control of paramilitary and criminal gangs.This event is an opportunity for all who live, work and volunteer in Brandywell and Creggan to identify the outcomes they want to achieve for their area and to consider the role the community should have the delivery of practical solutions that will tackle paramilitary activity, criminality and organised crime. This session will focus on how tackling health issues within communities could support a transition away from paramilitary activity, criminality and coercive control.
