Because when play is developed properly, it becomes more than just a bit of fun. It becomes something your dog values. Something they choose. Something you can use to bring them back to you, keep them engaged, and make training feel a lot less like… training.
That’s what we’re focusing on in our Toy Play Workshop.
Not over-the-top, frantic games.
Not trying to turn every dog into a tug machine.
Just a quieter, more deliberate way of building value in a toy, so it actually works for you.
We’ll look at how to get dogs interested (even the ones that would usually choose food), how to keep play structured, and how to use it to support things like recall, focus, and general engagement.
It’s the sort of thing that, once it clicks, tends to change how you train altogether.
