>Mission Drive
Our Awana mission drive for 2026 is themed OK Gold, Treasure What Matters. We're raising money to support our missionaries, the Lupers. Jesse and Tena Luper have been supported missionaries of Calvary Baptist Church for many years. They work with Baptist churches in Oklahoma (OK) who preach the gospel primarily to Native Americans.
>Get involved!
-- Awana clubbers take home a manila envelope with their name on it. Each week, they can return the envelope with their donation. The Awana office keeps track of how much money they bring during the mission drive.
If a clubber chooses to participate in the drive, the goal is for each clubber to donate $10.
We'll receive donations until Wednesday, March 11.
March 11 is a special night! The Lupers plan to join us in person and meet the clubbers. Also, it's pie night!
What is pie night? On pie night, clubbers who donated any amount during the drive will have their name put into a drawing. The winner of the drawing gets to throw a pie in a leader's face! For every $10 donated over the first 10, the clubber receives another entry for the drawing.
-- CBC congregation, you can donate by designating to "OK Gold" on an Offering Envelope and dropping in the Offering Boxes located in the main foyer.
