- **Event Description**: After the far right riot in Southampton and pogrom in Belfast, the following weekend saw a fantastic response by anti-racists in many towns and cities across the UK. In Belfast 20,000 anti-racists showed that they will not allow their city to be destroyed by far right thugs, in Glasgow, 10,000 came out against the fear and violence caused by the far right rampages and in Brighton 4,000 stopped 300 far right from marching. In Sheffield Over 1000 anti-racists united to stop the far right marching through their city. This was all fantastic but we can't be complacent. We did not outnumber them everywhere and they are not going away. 
Please do come along and share your ideas about how we build a vibrant anti-racist movement in Derby. We cannot afford to be the silent majority any more, we must be the loud majority. If good people stay silent then evil will triumph.
