Cosy BIKE & HIKE - SkegVegas 100 Mile Ride & 20 mile 'Amble to Ashbourne'

Welcome to BIKE & HIKE – home of the SkegVegas100 and the ‘Amble to Ashbourne’ 20-Mile Walk

Now firmly established as a highlight of the fundraising calendar, BIKE & HIKE brings you two fantastic charity challenges – all in support of Derby Children’s Holiday Centre and Derby Kids Camp.

Take on the iconic 100-mile SkegVegas charity bike ride from Derby to Skegness or join the ‘Amble to Ashbourne’– a 20-mile walk along the famous Bonnie Prince Charlie route (in reverse) from Derby to Ashbourne, through the stunning Derbyshire countryside.

Get ready to pedal or hike through breathtaking landscapes and coastal views – all for a great cause. Both events start from Derby Arena, Pride Park Stadium between 6:30 and 7:30am on Saturday 16th May 2026, with finishes at either the Derby Children’s Holiday Centre in Skegness or the picturesque market town of Ashbourne.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist, keen walker, or simply looking for a rewarding challenge with friends, there’s an event for you. So grab your bike, lace up your boots, and let’s raise money for two incredible causes!

Your entry fee includes:

• A donation to Derby Children’s Holiday Centre & Derby Kids Camp
• Lunch
• Snacks & drinks at stops
