The evening will celebrate the opening of the Derby Homeschool Exhibition, showcasing the creativity and talent of local homeschool students and providing an opportunity for families, artists, and community members to gather in an informal setting.

Because this is an election year, we are extending the same invitation to attend the MIXR to both candidates for the Sedgwick County Commission District 5 seat. 

We believe arts fans of all ages will appreciate the opportunity to meet candidates in a relaxed environment, introduce themselves, and learn more about the candidates while enjoying the Hubbard Arts Center. There will be no formal program—simply an opportunity for conversation and connection.

ARTS MIXR is a free and very informal gathering, open to artists and art lovers of all ages and abilities who are interested in learning more about the arts in Wichita. Our goal is to connect creatives throughout our community and spark conversations and collaboration.
