Over the past months, many of us have been feeling a mix of things about the lifestyle and the communities we’re part of—connection and growth, yes, but also fatigue, frustration, and moments of disenchantment.

This month’s Symposium is an invitation to pause and reflect—not on what’s broken or what needs fixing, but on why we’re here at all.

Why did we choose this path?
What has it given us?
What keeps us engaged, curious, and connected—even when it’s not easy?

This isn’t about convincing anyone of anything, and it’s not about glossing over the hard parts. It’s a space to speak (or listen) from personal experience—about meaning, choice, and what still feels true for us individually.

If you’ve ever found yourself asking:

Why do I stay, even when I’m tired?

What do I still value about this community?

What does this way of relating make possible for me?

…then this conversation may feel relevant.

As always, the Symposium is lightly facilitated, community-led, and open to newcomers and long-timers alike. There’s no expectation to share anything personal. Listening is participation.

Bring a drink, some snacks or just bring yourself. 
Discussion begins at 7:30 PM ( and goes about an hour), followed by open social time.

Logistics and House Guidelines

• Enter through the North entrance - it leads directly to the dungeon and helps keep the flow smooth.
• To avoid disrupting conversation and guests, please use the dungeon as the primary gathering space. You’re welcome to take a quick look around the first floor and use the two bathrooms located there.
• This is a National and Colorado landmark property, so no smoking or vaping anywhere on the grounds. If you need to smoke or vape, please do so in the parking lot behind the mansion.
