You may have noticed MFT gaining a lot of traction in the press recently. We’re honored for the chance to share our mission, highlight the power of this community, and shine a national spotlight on maternal mental health and wellness. We want to let you know that CNN will be on site at The Mom Dance Party: Black Friday as they produce a story about the Moms Feelin’ Themselves movement. 

Because your emotional safety is our top priority, we want you to know exactly what to expect regarding CNN’s presence. MFT and CNN are working closely together to ensure the space remains trauma-informed, respectful and mom-centered. Here’s what you can expect:
- Not Feelin’ It? You can opt out of being filmed!: At check-in, you’ll have the choice to wear a wristband indicating that you do not wish to be filmed.
- A small, low-impact crew: CNN is limited to bringing two staff members only (both women), who will make every effort to remain unobtrusive.
- A camera-free zone: The upstairs balcony will remain entirely off-camera for anyone who prefers added privacy.
- Ready for your close-up?: If you feel comfortable and want to share your experience of MFT, please feel free to approach them during the event.

We’ve been in close communication with the producer, Meena, who is a mom herself and deeply committed to telling this story with sensitivity, respect and positivity. Her intention is to uplift moms and highlight why spaces like this matter.
