Official reading list and sign ups drops on Friday! Limited spots available so don’t delay!

Members will receive invitations to our meetings, discussion questions ahead of time, access to a private chat, and a playlist to go with each book/session. Our meetings will also include a speed round of trivia with prizes.

Let’s dive deep into the music and culture we cherish and make space for lasting connections :)

The
Making Space Records Book Club is a space for artists, producers, DJs, and
listeners to slow down, reflect, and engage deeply with the history, culture,
and creative processes behind electronic music.

In 2026, we’ll meet six times throughout the year to explore foundational texts
on rave culture, DJ history, creativity, and experimentation. Each meeting
centers on thoughtful discussion, shared listening, and open exchange. This club is not about reading every single page or being an expert -- curiosity is all that is required. 

We will also be providing a playlist curated for each meeting :) 

Participants are encouraged (but never required) to connect ideas from the
readings to their own creative practices.
