Hula Hoopasana w/ Tiffany Adams
Hula Hooping isn't just for kids or the circus, it's for YOU too! Through Yoga and Hula Hooping we can improve our core strength, balance, and body awareness. In this 2 hour introductory workshop, we will start with a mini yoga asana practice, to warm the body and then spend a good amount of time covering on and off body hula hooping. We will finish by melding some of our favorite yoga poses and hula hoop moves into one. Like yoga, when Hula-Hooping, we hope to find a state of flow – whether it be the breath or in our hoop dance moves. No prior hula-hooping or yoga experience is required.
Tiffany Adams has been practicing yoga as long as she has been hula hooping, since 2012. Her circus friend encouraged her to pick up a hoop and give it a try. She must admit, she was hooked immediately. Tiffany loves to throw on some good tunes and get lost in the flow and dance of hula-hooping. Hula hooping, like yoga, has become a meditative practice for Tiffany. Dare to join her?
If you have a hula hoop, please bring one. There will be hula hoops to share.
