Experience Forest Bathing at Bluff Lake during the third Saturday in months March through May, and the last Saturday in June.
Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku ) was developed in Japan during the 1980s to relieve stress and enhance well-being. This practice of taking time in nature, to “bathe” in the rich sensory experience of all that surrounds you, has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japan and is becoming popular in the United States. During this relaxing, two hour, guided walk, you will be invited to open your senses and engage with nature in a deeper way. Best suited for adults and teens. Make sure to dress in weather appropriate clothing!
These events are free and open to the public. The session is limited to roughly 10 people. Please RSVP to aW5mbyB8IGJsdWZmbGFrZSAhIG9yZw== to reserve your spot.
