Register in WorkdayAbout this EventThe Black Belt Training is a 4-day in-depth training in process improvement tools and change management and is meant to immerse the participant in a rigorous, hands-on experience. We encourage DEN employees to enroll in seasonal cohort months, whenever possible. The first portion of the training takes place over three and a half consecutive days at the Denver Peak Academy, and the second portion is an additional half-day roughly one month later. You will be assigned a DEN Continuous Improvement coach upon enrollment, and this coach will support you with:Selecting and aligning your initiative to DEN's strategic vision using the 4-Step Improvement model prior to class.​​​​​​​Coaching you through the 4-Step Improvement Model.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Objectives​​​​​​​Cultivate innovative behaviors and mindsetsLearn to identify waste, use gap tools, brainstorm then test solutionsEngage your team in addressing a work process challengeComplete an initiative to receive your certification!​​​​​​​CertificationComplete the training prior to implementing your improvement.
