This session will break down what these misconceptions are using real-world examples and how to rethink machine vision lighting so you can avoid these pitfalls yourself.Lighting Principles Part 1Info: Machine vision lighting is about utilizing the physics of light to create contrast so that your program can easily detect its inspection target. Lighting Principles Part 1 will cover the 3 main ways we use geometry (lighting direction) to create contrast: brightfield/darkfield, shadowless, and collimation, and what lights produce these different effects.LunchLighting Principles Part 2Info: In Lighting Principles Part 2, we will cover how the wavelength, polarization, and amplitude of the light will affect the image. We'll also look at various lighting options and tools used to create and control these effects.Machine Vision Lighting ControlInfo: Learn how lighting controllers impact image quality, system reliability, and inspection accuracy.
