Join Denver Museum of Nature & Science for a special evening celebrating the arrival of the Office of Collecting & Design, the acclaimed traveling museum devoted to the diminutive, the unusual and the overlooked. Housed within a 42-foot mobile museum, the Office of Collecting & Design invites visitors to slow down, look closely and rediscover the wonder of everyday objects. 

As part of the Office's 2026 Fall Tour, this special Museum program explores the art of collecting, the stories objects carry and the human desire to preserve pieces of the world around us. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the Office of Collecting & Design's unique approach to museums, curiosity and discovery, which has captivated visitors across the country. 

The evening will also feature a look at from the Museum's Archives team, who will share a selection of small, surprising and rarely displayed items from the Denver Museum of Nature & Science collections. From carefully preserved artifacts to unexpected archival treasures, these objects reveal how collections help tell stories about science, culture and the people who preserve them. 

Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a brief sneak peek inside the Office of Collecting & Design's traveling museum and learn more about the immersive experiences available during its Denver residency. Full tours, scavenger hunts and flat-lay experiences are ticketed separately through the Office of Collecting & Design.
