- **Event Description**: Born in Pensacola, Florida the son of a Navy Chief he has traveled and lived in several countries. Has worked as a crab fisherman in Alaska, shrimper in Florida and in heavy civil construction in Northern Canada and the US. 

He began playing guitar when he was in elementary school in Belgium when his father bought him his first guitar in 1972. After living in Europe his family moved to the family home in Leavenworth, Washington where he was active in several music projects. 

From the bars of Key West, Florida in the 80’s to the coast of Canada where he was a founding member of the well-known rock and roll band, Pacific Disturbance which played all over British Columbia and Alberta. While with Pacific Disturbance, he had the pleasure of playing with Canadian icon, Jerry Doucette and Little Feat drummer Richie Hayward.
His first two musical influences were from a sailor in Europe who turned him on to what’s known as classic country and from a soldier from Scotland who taught him how to rock and roll. 

His major musical influences come from many artists, mainly Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jimmy Buffett, John Prine, Jason Isbell, John Hiatt, Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, Todd Snider, Steve Earle, Robert Earl Keen, Blaze Foley, Hayes Carll, Townes Van Zandt and all things Americana. 

Today Curtis Roy Moore has developed into a powerhouse solo performer and a masterful front man to engage audiences with his authentic love of his craft. Spreading his love of music through his songs, performance, and his heartfelt connection with the audience. Once you have heard and seen Curtis Roy Moore, you will never forget him.
