The 250 Buckeye Train & Transportation Celebration is much
more than just a train ride - it is a celebration of Ohio’s rich
transportation history, past and present. A festive atmosphere
focused upon rail, air and roadways, as well as entertainment,
food and performers, will immerse you into the glory days of
Ohio.
A feature highlight will include a 250 vehicle timeline showcasing Ohio’s automotive legacy. From vintage models to modern vehicles, the Car Show will capture the state’s vast contribution to our car manufacturing and innovation heritage.
At the heart of the Dennison visit is a nostalgic immersion into
Dennison’s WWII heritage, complete with 1940s music, military
reenactments, Victory Canteen Singers, historic performers,
Victory Garden and museum displays, all transporting visitors
back in time when Ohio’s contributions helped win the war.
The 250 Buckeye Train & Transportation Celebration will be
capped off with a rare and thrilling WWII-era flyover and
airshow, as well as some surprise visits from modern military
aircraft. Before you leave, be sure to stop by the Age of Steam
Roundhouse Museum display and see one of their steam
locomotives under power. This is one of many museum exhibits
on display.

The 250 Buckeye Train will be a two days of special train excursions made possible by the Ohio Central Railroad:
On April 25, 2026 there will be a round trip train excursion from Columbus to Dennison. With a 3 hour layover to enjoy the Transportation Celebration happening in Dennison.
On April 26, 2026 there will be a round trip train excursion from Newark to Coshocton to Dennison. With a 3 hour layover to enjoy the Transportation Celebration happening in Dennison.
