The Department of Bands at Voorhees University will host a Percussion Clinic and Workshop on March 6 – 7, 2026, welcoming college and high school students from across the region for two days of hands-on instruction, musical development, and ensemble training.
Held in the Leonard E. Dawson Health and Human Resources Center (Gymnasium), the clinic will feature acclaimed percussion educators Tim Greene and Marc O’Brien as clinicians. Designed to strengthen both individual musicianship and ensemble performance, sessions will focus on essential percussion techniques, timing, groove, rudiments, and creative musical application. This clinic is especially beneficial for students and band programs seeking to elevate percussion performance and reinforce rhythm as a driving force within the ensemble.
