Tanya Ransom & Tracey Barnett Bring Soulful Folk, Blues, Roots and Alt-Country to the Great Southern
Two of Western Australia’s most compelling singer-songwriters, Tanya Ransom and Tracey Barnett, are set to perform back-to-back shows in the South West this December. Ransom, acclaimed for her rich, emotive alt-country and folk songs, will be touring her third studio album The Significance of Time, which debuted at #9 on the AIR 100% Independent Charts and was featured as ABC Country’s Album of the Week. Her cinematic storytelling and heartfelt performances have seen her grace major festivals and share stages with artists including Missy Higgins, John Butler, and Boy & Bear.
Tracey Barnett, a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Bridgetown, brings her signature blend of blues, roots, and folk, infused with captivating pop sensibilities. Over the past 15 years, she has released two albums and two EPs, earned multiple WAM Song of the Year nominations, and her latest single Find My Garden debuted at #2 on the AMRAP charts. Continually exploring new sonic territory, Tracey’s work resonates with emotional depth and connection.
Together, Ransom and Barnett will share their stories and songs in an intimate setting at Denmark ArtsHouse on Friday 5th December, promising audiences a night of captivating, heartfelt music.
