🎣 26th Annual Youth Trout Derby 🎣
Join us for a fun and exciting day at the pond for the 26th Annual Youth Trout Derby, open to boys and girls ages 16 and under. This family-friendly event offers young anglers the chance to enjoy fishing, friendly competition, and time outdoors.
🧢 Special Giveaway:
A commemorative cap will be given to the first 50 registered participants, so be sure to register early!
📅 Date & Time:
Saturday, February 28
✔️ Check-in begins at 8:00 AM
🎣 Fishing Derby: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
🎣 Event Details & Rules:
This event is FREE, but registration is required
Maximum of 80 participants
Participants must bring their own rod, reel, tackle, bait, and stringer or bucket
Children 16 and under must have a guardian present to participate
Parents and adults are encouraged to assist, but may not fish for the participant
A casting contest will also be held during the event

Awards will be presented for:
Largest Trout
Smallest Trout
Heaviest 5-Fish Stringer
Golden or Tagged Trout Catches
🍽️ Food & Awards Presentation:
Food will be provided during the awards presentation following the fishing portion of the derby.
👀 Spectator Courtesy:
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, participants will have adequate space along the pond to fish comfortably. Spectators are kindly asked to stand or sit behind the anglers they are observing, keeping the water’s edge clear for those actively fishing.
