Want to overcome the complexity of bargello patchwork? Then this workshop is for you.
Bargello patchwork looks complicated, but in this workshop you will learn the technique to fully understand the simple construction technique. Based on the tapestry techniques first developed in Bargello Palace in Florence in the 17th century, this patchwork technique emulates the wave or flame like patterns.
From a choice of colours you will receive everything you need to make a 21" cushion.
Places are limited to 8, so you will get plenty of expert tuition from Claire and plenty of time to complete your cushion cover.
You will need to bring with you, your sewing machine, 1/4" patchwork foot, basic sewing kit, note book and pen, a rotary cutter ruler and mat will be provided, but you may wish to bring your own.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, please bring your own mug. As this will be a full day, either bring your lunch or there are a number of cafes open in Penistone.
