A vibrant new season is about to begin at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, and we are thrilled to invite you to help us launch it in style at our 26th Anniversary Barbeque Dinner & Dance. This cherished annual tradition marks the first gathering of the year, and we cannot wait to welcome you back as we celebrate community, heritage, and the exciting year ahead.
The evening will open with a social hour from 5:00–6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., Jumbo Lump Daddy will take the stage and keep the festivities going well into the night.
Because seating is limited, early reservations are encouraged. Joe Davenport will once again prepare his signature barbeque, coleslaw, potato salad, and fresh beans. This year, guests may choose either pork or chicken barbeque (please note that chicken quantities are limited). Tickets are $40 per person, or four for $150 for members.
As noted on the enclosed invitation and response card, members enjoy an additional $10 savings when purchasing sets of four. Membership also includes discounts to our Groovin’ in the Park concert series, free museum admission, and savings in the Museum Gift Shop. Memberships make thoughtful gifts throughout the year and truly continue to give.
To welcome new supporters, we are pleased to offer one complimentary year of family membership to anyone who is not currently a member and purchases a four ticket package for $160. This option provides excellent value while granting full access to all membership benefits.
As we enter our 26th year, we are proud of the many improvements across the Museum, Boat Shop, Waterfront Park, Waterfront Stage, Tea House, Exhibit Center, and Nature Trails. These enhancements are possible only through your generosity and commitment.
Since our founding in 2002, we have grown thanks to the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and supporters like you. We remain committed to serving as a center for education, archives, living history, and—above all—a welcoming gathering place for our maritime community.
