The Boomer Legacy (A Staged Reading) by Stephen Young

The Boomer Legacy is a comedic play which speculates on the answer to the question “how will baby boomers be remembered?” Focused on specific moments during the lifespan of our lead characters, conclusions regarding the real historical impact of this particular generation may be altered. WARNING! Some baby boomers might find this material disturbing.

PLAYWRIGHT BIO:
Stephen Young spent the early part of his professional career writing sitcoms. His credits include episodes of The Jeffersons and Sanford & Son which can still be viewed today, some with renowned performers including Michael Keaton and Don Rickles, and most that were quickly forgotten by everyone, including those involved. Luckily he was rescued from episodic television by the not-for-profit world, and spent more than thirty years as an agency executive. Now retired, his current ambition is to become the oldest “new playwright” in Broadway history.
