About the project:
This project is a collaborative effort between the City and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to improve Carver Square Park for the surrounding neighborhood. With funding provided through the CRA, the City managed the planning, bidding, and construction to bring these improvements to life.
As part of the Fiscal Year 2023–2024 CRA budget, $360,000 was dedicated to upgrades at Carver Square Park, located near SW 3rd Street and SW 7th Avenue. The project includes a brand-new playground structure, additional play equipment, and new turf, creating a safer, more enjoyable, and more welcoming play space for children and families to enjoy.
