Childbirth is a life-changing event. Preparing is essential and needs to be done, whatever else is happening around us.
During this course you will discover techniques to support and empower you and your partner to have the birthing experience you want.
The following topics, amongst others, will be covered:
• Physiology of birth
• Positioning
• Pain-management techniques and options
• Breathing
• Instinctive vs. guided pushing
• Home vs. hospital birth
• Birth planning
Practical Details:
• The course will run between 11:00 and 18:00.
• 1-hour break for lunch - you are encouraged to pop out for some movement and fresh air. There are many lovely cafes nearby where you can grab lunch.
• Price per couple: €325 (this includes tea and snacks)
• Payment confirms registration
• A “couple” can be your partner, birth support partner, mother, sister, or friend.
Your Teacher:
Tami, your teacher and host for this event, is a certified birth doula, childbirth educator, and has an extensive background in physical therapy.
