Botswanan & Peruvian Cooking Class

This month’s cooking class brings a unique and comforting fusion: Peruvian flavors meeting Botswanan home cooking. We’ll be preparing Madombi, a simple, earthy Botswanan dumpling dish served with a warming chicken stew, and pairing it with Chicha Morada, Peru’s beloved purple-corn drink.

The session is inspired and led by Samanta, who grew up in Botswana with Peruvian roots and a deep love for both culinary traditions. It’s a chance to explore dishes you may have never tasted before, in a relaxed, friendly setting.

No pressure and expectations, just a casual gathering for people who enjoy cooking, sharing stories, and discovering new cuisines together.
