Join us for the kickoff of Delaware in Conversation with Allies for Justice: Delaware’s Role in Brown v. Board of Education on Wednesday, March 11 at 6:00 PM at the Delaware City Library.

This engaging talk explores how Delaware figures into the story of the historic Brown v. Board of Education decision and the local leaders whose work helped shape national change.   

Our speaker, Kathy Doyle, is an award-winning writer and educator who taught in Delaware for more than 30 years and has written Allies for Justice, a book about how Louis Redding and Collins Seitz influenced the fight for school desegregation.  

Presented in partnership with Friends of Fort DuPont, Delaware City Library, and Delaware Humanities, this free community event offers a fun, thought-provoking evening for all ages. Snacks will be provided, and no registration fee is required, bring friends, family, and curiosity for a great conversation about Delaware’s past and its impact on our shared future.
