Join us on September 21st for the Potomac Pedalers' marquee fall event: the Harvest Hundred! Riders will have a choice of three routes that wind through the quiet rural roads in Virginia’s Piedmont region, filled with rolling hills, horse farms, and pastureland. Whether this will be your first time riding in this region or the twentieth, you’ll be wowed by its beauty, and you’ll appreciate the event amenities and support for riders. The Harvest Hundred will have three route options: the Harvest Century (100.8 miles), the Harvest Metric (65.7 miles) and the Harvest Spin (39.7 miles). Routes are available on club's website:

Registration is $140, but there is a significant discount for PPTC members, so that joining the club is essentially free if you are registering for the event; a limited number of scholarships are available for first-time century riders for whom the registration fee is a barrier to participation. Registration includes a BBQ lunch (with vegetarian option) and participation in a post-ride raffle. A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from Barrel Oak.
Registration also includes a donation to
https://www.bikesfortheworld.org/, which sends rehabbed bicycles to communities throughout the U.S. and the world. Your contribution helps BFW increase access to education, jobs, and markets by providing bicycles that can serve as a basic method of transportation in communities where other forms of transportation are not available.
All routes start and end at Barrel Oak Winery & Brewery in Delaplane, VA. After the ride, enjoy the view, the music and the offerings at Barrel Oak Winery. The comfortable seating areas and the good food provide an oasis-like environment for riders to relax and celebrate a good day of riding with friends and acquaintances.
