- **Event Description**: On Thursday, July 16, 2026, Volusia Pride will host a public Candidate Forum at Abbey Bar from 5:00–8:00 PM. This event provides an opportunity for community members to hear directly from candidates running for local, state, and federal offices.

Registered candidates have submitted responses to a set of questions. These responses will be published on the Volusia Pride website prior to the event to help voters learn more about each candidate’s positions. Candidates may register at: www.volusiapride.org/candidates-2026

During the forum, each candidate will have dedicated time to speak and respond to questions from both the in-person audience and virtual participants. The event will be livestreamed, and community members may also submit questions online.
