- **Event Description**: Have an abundance of zucchini? More mint than you know what to do with? Just looking for some fresh, homegrown flavor? Join us for the launch of our Produce Swap!

Bring your extra backyard bounty of fruits, veggies, herbs, or flowers, and trade them with your neighbors. No homegrown goods to share just yet? Come by anyway; there’s always plenty to go around, and everyone is welcome.

Can't make it to the launch? Don't worry! The swap continues all season long. The Produce Swap will return every weekend until mid-October.

When? Every weekend, July 10 through October 12, Friday at 12:00 PM- Monday at 12:00 PM. Every Monday afternoon, the swap table will be cleared for the week, and leftover produce will be shared with staff and/or donated to a local organization.

Where? Look for the swap table near the adult reference desk.

How? Please log any produce you bring or take from the swap in the notebook on the table so we can monitor the program’s success.

What? Please only bring fresh, clean produce that is fit for consumption. You are welcome to bring anything you’ve grown in your garden or yard including, but not limited to, fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

This program is free to attend. Registration is not required. It is intended for community members of all ages.
