The training is simple and provides clear, step-by-step guidance on what to do until emergency help arrives. After completing the training, participants will receive a box of naloxone.

In addition to learning how to respond to an overdose, this training also covers basic information about opioid use and risk factors. You will be introduced to local resources that can help support individuals struggling with substance use. By increasing awareness and access to naloxone, this program works to reduce overdose deaths and improve the health and safety of our community.

This free training is intended for adults. No registration is required. It is held in conjunction with the DeKalb County Health Department.
