Lewis Allan Reed, geboren in Brooklyn, NYC, is dé chroniqueur van de New Yorkse zelfkant. Hij was gitarist, zanger en voornaamste songschrijver van Velvet Undergound en had een solocarrière van om en bij de vijf decennia.

Zijn vaste thema's omvatten drugs, S & M, de LGTBQ+-gemeenschap, het New Yorkse nachtleven en ongeveer alles wat ongemakkelijk lijkt in een song. Zelf omschrijft hij zijn liederen als novellen, wars van sentimentaliteit en clichés maar wel onder de noemer Rock & Roll.

Materiaal genoeg voor deze drie heren van stand om er de tanden in te zetten, deze keer op sobere, semi akoestische en van tonnen sfeer voorziene wijze.  
                                            
Hits als ‘Perfect Day’, ‘Sweet Jane’, ‘Walk on the Wild Side’ krijgen hun plaats, de Velvets worden ruimschoots eer betoont, Berlin krijgt bijzondere aandacht, een obscure song wordt niet geschuwd.

Op de affiche in bijlage vinden jullie alle nodige info. Voorverkoop aan 20 € start nu en tickets kunnen jullie bestellen via een email naar Dirk De Meester (hij laat jullie dan weten hoe jullie de tickets kunnen betalen). Tickets aan de deur kosten 23 €.

Ik hoop op een vol huis (kerk), er zijn maximum 100 plaatsen, dus wees er snel bij om een plaatsje te bemachtigen.
