It’s hard to believe our reunion is only 7 weeks away! Below is your update for July with some important information.
Thursday, Sept. 4th – Our Dutch Apple Cruise on the Hudson will be from 1-2:30PM. They advise you arrive no later than 12:30PM to purchase your ticket, get on board and get comfortable. They will leave at 1PM whether you are onboard or not. You can go to their website at www.dutchapplecruises.com and purchase your tickets ahead of time if you wish. Senior ticket is $26.99.
Saturday morning, Sept. 6th – Al and Ray have been working to secure a time for our walk down memory lane at the old high school. We have been told by administration that it will be sometime in the morning unless there is a school event that takes precedence. We should have a time commitment before I send out the August update.
Of course our reunion will be the evening of September 5 at Moscatiello’s Restaurant, located at 99 North Greenbush Rd., Troy 12180. We have the room reserved from 5-9PM but I’m sure there will be a few of us in the bar prior to that so come early if you want! We have a fabulous buffet dinner planned, all our favorite ‘60’s music, some fabulous memorabilia, surprises and a special guest! Cost per person is $60. If you’ve been waiting to RSVP, now would be a good time to let me know you’re coming and whether you are bringing a guest. The Restaurant needs a count for the buffet. Once you’ve done that, please send a check made out to Cecelia Levatino, 4316 W. Winslow Way, Eloy, AZ 85131 or Zelle to 575-644-6763. I need to receive payment no later than August 20th.
Saturday, Sept. 6th is the multi-year reunion of all the 60’s classes. That will be from 3-6PM at the firehouse pavilion on Phillips Rd. They’ve asked for a donation of $5 in past years to cover costs so I expect the same this year.
