- **Event Description**: Duo FAE presents a concert of works by composers whose voices were suppressed by the political landscapes they stood in opposition of.About this EventMusic Redacted traces distinct stories of art persisting against suppression: a Polish woman who composed in secret while Nazis occupied her city and then navigated communist censorship for the rest of her career; a Soviet composer whose works exhibiting polystylism, mixing both serious and un-serious material, exist as a critique of the post-war Soviet aesthetic, and America's most celebrated composer, hauled before Senator McCarthy's committee as a suspected enemy of the state.This modernist worship and concert space was designed after a cave, built around a huge rock as its pulpit, and has a wall of colorful and abstract fused glass windows. With seating for 330, the space is also an acoustical marvel for all types of music. This in-person event promises to be an event to remember. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to experience an excellent concert of chamber music without having to drive into the city.
