Raquy Danziger Percussion Workshops

Ride that Friday night high from the show on into Saturday morning workshops with Raquy Danziger!

Open Levels Darbuka
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Class for drummers with some experience with darbuka. You are welcome to bring any drum but a dumbek or darbuka is preferred.
We will learn:
-Finger Techniques
-Different Rolls
-Odd Rhythms
-Solo Phrases

Rhythms for Belly Dancers
11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Develop your understanding of Middle Eastern rhythms, no drum required!
We will learn:
-How to count and recognize the main Middle Eastern rhythms
-Rhythm exercises
-How to accompany standard songs with zils or clapping
-How to follow a drum solo

$50 each or $80 for both
