Mothering & Mourning by Megan Flynn and Teresa VanDenend Sorge is a 50-minute dance theater work that blends experimental movement and storytelling across five pieces, touching on themes of caregiving, memory loss, friendship in difficult times, cancer, and finding joy amid grief. It is a powerful and moving complement to Rooms of Grief.
Previously based in Philadelphia, the dance artists reunite in VanDenend Sorge’s new home city of Cincinnati to unpack the weight of caregiving – of children, parents, community, and their creativity. Mothering and Mourning – aren’t we all?
Doors open at 12:30pm. Performance begins at 1:00pm.
FREE to attend, but please RSVP with ordering a FREE TICKET. Seating is first come, first serve.
