This all girls float trip is a blast and I promise you will want to make this an annual event for you and your girlfriends and relatives! This is a charity event to raise money for prostate cancer research and a cure. Again this year we will be raising money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago.

FYI - I AM CHANGING THE WAY WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE THE T-SHIRTS AND DONATIONS TO HELP WITH THE LONG REGISTRATION LINE.  Instead of paying $25 for the shirt and then having you bring $50 in donations event day, I am just making the shirts $75 to make things easier on everyone.  You can still collect donations to help you get your $75 if you need to.

 The event fee is $75 plus shipping or you can pick up at JC Screenprinting in Goodfield. Your $75 incudes:

T-Shirt or Tank - I am covering the tax, the extra charge for long team name on back and plus sizes this year (only thing extra would be shipping)
Transportation to and from the river
Chance to win a kayak
Prize giveaway's
Free meal after the float

There are koozies you can buy for $2 to sell for donations and to help you cover your $75 entry fee. There are only 200 slim can koozies so grab one quick! ALL proceeds go to our Charity and to cover event costs.

For those that want a shirt but are not attending the event, they will be offered on the site for $25 but WILL NOT SHIP OR BE AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP UNTIL AFTER THE EVENT.

 This years theme is COUNTRY WESTERN! Make your team name or your name on back of shirt from something to do with Country Western...a song, an name, a phrase, a band, etc..... decorate your boat and yourself....have fun with it!

 If you decide to go at the last minute and haven't ordered a shirt, you can still go but you will have to pay the $75 when you get to the Legion or I will be selling them at the Legion the night before from 5pm - 8pm. I normally have enough extra shirts but can't promise I will have your size. 
 You will each get a ticket to put in the drawing for the kayak giveaway when you get to the event. There are also men's safety yellow T-shirts available on the site if any men want one.

 We will meet at the Deer Creek Legion NO LATER THAN 10:00am and be on the river by noon. GATES OPEN AT 9AM. PLEASE PLAN TO BE AT THE LEGION BETWEEN 9AM-10AM so we can everone checked in and get to the river asap.

NO ONE FLOATS ON AN INFLATABLE RAFT OR TUBE. Inflatable kayaks & paddle boards are fine. Just not pool floaties or black innertubes. They all either popped or had to be pulled behind a canoe the first year. They also float a lot slower and there is no way to paddle or control where you are going. Please don't ask!

They will have your kayak at the river for you and will pickup at Canoe Access.  Find him when you get to the river.
**Be at the Deer Creek Legion before 10:00 a.m. PLEASE DONT BE LATE!
**This is a FEMALE ONLY ONLY float----and YOU MUST BE 18 TO FLOAT WITH US...NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!
**If you are using your own canoe/kayak you must drop it off where we put in either the night before or before you come to the Legion that morning. This is the address where you drop your boats-18298 Zimmerman Rd Deer Creek 61733. There will be a sign where you need to pull in. PLEASE DO NOT PULL INTO THE DRIVEWAY AT THE HOUSE! There will be vehicles at the Legion to take you to the river and we will have rides back to the Legion when we get off of the river.
**We will be getting off the river at the canoe access outside of Deer Creek by 6pm
**There will be guys at the canoe access to help those of us with our own canoes to get them back to the Legion, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
***If it is raining, we will still float. If there are severe storms in the area, we will try to wait them out or stay at the Legion and party!
***We will only float if the river is at a safe level
**Items you may want to bring-towel-sunglasses-koozie-cooler(duh)-sandwich/snacks-sunblock-camera--hat-rain poncho?-swim shoes-ziplock baggies or dry box
** The Wiener Slingers will be on their beach giving away wieners for donations so don't forget to bring some cash on the river with you!
**We will have a meal ready for you all to eat at the Legion after the float and DJ Dan Hall will be there again playing us some great music! See less
