The Pumpkin Project is a new non-profit community initiative for Deep River and surrounding areas. Our mission is threefold:
Reduce local pumpkin and plastic landfill waste and disposal costs after Hallowe'en
Feed local farm/homestead animals and support natural large-scale composting
Transform pumpkins into a massive aerial art display with the help of local high-school students (fun opportunity to earn community service hours toward graduation) and local community volunteers
Our community is invited to join in the fun and participate in a number of ways!
Submit Your Design for a chance to see it brought to life with pumpkins at Hill Park on Nov 1, 2025.
