June 12: Non-Fiction Book Club - "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakauer

Please join us Thursday, June 12 at 6:30 to discuss "Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mount Everest Disaster" by acclaimed journalist Jon Krakauer, who is well known for writing non-fiction accounts that read like blockbuster thrillers.

Back in December, we voted on a "theme" for an upcoming month's book club pick, and the winning theme was "failure." So, here is a book that tackles failure in spades. (Consult your preferred trigger-warning tools!)

June 12 will be our last meeting of the Spring 2025 session. We will be back in early October, after a 3-month break for summer. At the June 12 meeting I will share the book list for the Fall 2025 and Winter-Spring 2026 sessions.
