Each year, the Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Black Social Workers (ABSW) sponsors the William Bradley Scholarship, providing financial assistance to a Black student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. The proceeds from the Sneaker Ball will enable the scholarship amount for the William Bradley Scholarship to increase from $250 to $500 per year. Additionally, funds raised will contribute to the establishment of the $250 Bessie Shavers Scholarship, which supports undergraduate and graduate students in social justice programs.
